While most people will come into contact with an android maybe once in your life, some of you actually know and see androids every day without knowing it. They could be in any aspect of your life, at work, at school or your neighbor. While its important to identify and report Androids, it is also important not to incorrectly lable humans as robots. We have created a quick test to help you decipher whether the person you know is in fact a robot. Please note that this is not 100% full proof and should be treated as such.
Does the subject go swimming?
A yes answer is suspicious; robots are especially weary of the ocean.
When the subject farts does it smell?
Robots can fart but they do not produce the bad smelling gas methane.
Have you ever witnessed the subject defecate or urinate?
If you have actually seen the expelling of the subject, it is most likely a real human being, as robots will just expel a mashed up version of what they consumed.
Ask the subject what the square root of 729 is.
If they answer right away ‘27’ then you are likely in the presence of a robot, however if it does not answer correctly and quickly it does not eliminate the robot theory.
Does the subject avoid plastic chairs? Does it avoid scales?
Androids can be quite heavy, a plastic chair being destroyed could out them.
Have you ever had the feeling the subject has been on the internet (Checked email, internet news) without having accessed a computer?
Androids can access the internet in several ways using Wife technology.
Does the subject recall memories with emotion or purely as a breakdown of what happened?
It is rare for a robot to say something like “I was so happy”
If you talk to the subject in a different voice does it act strange, or act as if it does not know you.
Many androids use voice recognition to determine who you are, changing you voice may be enough to confuse it.
Does the subject ever describe dreams?
The only time a robot will describe a dream is when it’s a lie, and they more than likely are quoting a real persons dream word for word, keep your ear open for clues that it may be somebody else’s words.
Is the subject a good artist?
If so ask it to draw something conceptual that would not be located in its database, like a two headed octopus drinking wine from a barrel. Robots can be artists, but they are merely utilizing databases in their minds to know what to draw. For example if you asked a robot to draw a dog, it can pick from the thousands of dogs it has taken footage of in its lifetime, but something its never seen and has to imagine will throw it off completely.
Ask the subject to write a poem.
Same thing goes for poetry as artwork, robots just aren’t that creative, and if it produces something try to see if it’s plagiarized.
Has the subject ever cried, laughed, screamed or done anything else at completely inappropriate times?
Machines can get confused with emotions. A good test is to tell it something and display the incorrect emotion yourself and see if it follows suite. Example: tell it that you lost 2 pounds and you are mourning your loss, if it acts legitimately supportive you may have a robot. Or tell it that your mother died yesterday but laugh as you say it, if it laughs with you it may be a robot.
When you around the subject do speakers and radios often pick up signals?
Robots transmit signals over radio frequencies and cell phone which can interfere with electronics.
Remember this is none of these items are definite indicators, but the more on this list that fit your subject, the more likely he/she is an android.
